How we verify sellers

Anyone can browse WagyuSale, and anyone with a confirmed email can message other members. Badges tell you how much we have checked about the person you are talking to.

✓ Verified email

The member clicked a confirmation link we sent to their email address. This happens automatically and is required before anyone can send messages.

✓ Verified ranch

The member proved they control an email address at the ranch's own website domain (for example [email protected], not a free webmail address). This is the same check that lets a seller claim the listings we gathered from that website. It shows they belong to that business.

✓ Verified association member

The member gave us their breed association membership number and we checked it by hand with the association's public records. Email [email protected] with your association and membership number to request this badge.

What badges do not mean

A badge confirms identity, not the quality of an animal, the accuracy of a pedigree, or that a deal will go well. WagyuSale is not a party to sales between members. Check registration papers, health certificates and import rules yourself, use payment methods you trust, and be wary of anyone who pushes for wire transfers, gift cards or cryptocurrency before you have verified them.
