Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This explains what WagyuSale collects and what we do with it. We do not sell your personal information. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), and anything you add to your profile such as photos, location, ranch name, phone or website.
  • What you post: listings, photos, comments and messages.
  • Usage: pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you, and your general device and browser type. We use this to see what is useful and to show sellers how many people viewed their listings.
  • Email activity: whether a newsletter or notification was delivered, so we can fix delivery problems.

What is public

Your profile name, handle, photos, location, listings, comments, and any contact details you choose to show on your profile are visible to everyone. Your email address and messages are private unless you choose to show them.

Messages and translation

Messages are stored so both people in a conversation can read them. To translate messages, listings and articles, the text is sent to an AI translation provider that processes it on our behalf. We do not use your messages for advertising.

Who we share with

  • Service providers who run the site for us: hosting, email delivery, translation, and payment processing if you use on-site checkout.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it or to stop fraud.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. When you close your account we delete your profile and listings; copies in backups expire within about two weeks.

Your choices

  • Edit your profile at any time from your dashboard.
  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected] from your account address.
